The purpose of this alliance is to communicate current and historical information on the Cayman Islands financial services as an offshore financial centre on an ongoing basis to the general public. The organization has set out a clear and concise mission statement: "To communicate the integrity and quality of Cayman Islands financial services"
Current members of CIFSA include the Cayman Islands Society of Professional Accountants (CISPA), the Law Society, the Society of Trust and Estate Practioneers (STEP), the Fund Administrators Association, the Bankers Association and the Insurance Managers Association.
