The American Chamber of Commerce of El Salvador is an independent non-profit association that represents, promotes, defends and develops the North American commercial interests in El Salvador for the benefit of both countries, as well as to serve the business community in general to promote trade and investments between the United States and El Salvador as well as promoting and disseminating the free enterprise principles.

El Salvador is strategically located in Central America, between the north and south of the American Continent. It borders the Republic of Guatemala to the west, the Republic of Honduras to the north, the Republics of Honduras and Nicaragua to the east, in the waters of the Gulf of Fonseca, and to the south with the Pacific Ocean. Its territorial extension is approximately 20,742 square kilometers, it has 296 kilometers of coastline in the Pacific which extends throughout the country.
