Nicaragua’s Best Guide ® is a non-governmental, private, on-line magazine that is broadcast on the Internet on a quarterly basis, covering topics relevant to Nicaraguan culture, ecology, history, tourist attractions, entertainment, art, food, and folklore. Our virtual magazine is mostly in English, except for the three bilingual (English and Spanish) feature articles we publish each quarter. Our permanent sections are: Basic Facts About Nicaragua (a short, general guide to Nicaragua), Nicaraguan Celebrations (a calendar outlining the most popular religious and folkloric celebrations taking place in Nicaragua each quarter), Where to Go and What to See (a quick review of the "Must See" tourist attractions in Nicaragua), Nena’s Kitchen (where we feature recipes of different traditional Nicaraguan dishes each quarter), Buen Provecho (a restaurant review featuring a different local establishment in each edition), Guardians of the Legends (where in every issue, a different character in Nicaraguan "mythology" comes to life), and Gallery (a profile segment featuring diverse up-and-coming local artists).
