 Description: The Consular section provides a variety of services for American citizens and citizens of Egypt and Sudan. There are three units within the section:
The American Citizen Services Unit assists people with passport renewal, registration of Americans residing in or visiting Egypt, birth reports for children of American citizens born in Egypt, voter registration, income tax forms, notarial services and emergency services to American citizens. As a non-claiming Federal Benefit Post, the consular section carries out federal agencies' requests for services; distributes federal benefits checks; and hands out available forms.
