 Description: The guesthouse is located 5 Kilometers south of Poptún in the department of Petén, Guatemala in a beautiful pine forest surrounded by jungle. It lies in the foothills of the Maya Mountains at an elevation of 1800 feet (600 meters).
There are a variety of things to do during your stay at Finca Ixobel. We invite you to relax on the various verandas or in the numerous hammocks placed throughout the grounds. We also have a natural spring where guests can enjoy the sounds of a waterfall while they sit at a table or rest in a hammock. Take a stroll through the pines, climb one of the various hills for spectacular views, play a sport or swim and sunbathe. Besides relaxing at Finca Ixobel, the limestone hills provide some wonderful caving adventures or you can go horseback riding, inner tubing or jungle trekking.
