During our tours you will get the chance to take part of traditional Scandinavian culture and experience what is special and unique for the Bergslagen region. All food is biologically produced by local farmers and our eco-friendly forest huts belongs to the local community. As a participant of our tours you also help to preserve local nature and cultural traditions since a part of your fee is used directly for these matters. Our guides will be eager to tell you more about these projects as you arrive.

Skansen is also a zoological park specialising mainly in Scandinavian fauna. It is located on the island of Djurgården, a royal park near the centre of Stockholm. Skansen was founded in 1891 by Artur Hazelius (1833-1901) for the purpose of showing how people had lived and worked in different parts of Sweden in times gone by.

Confidence in Sweden
Inspiring confidence in Sweden as a country and spreading goodwill on its behalf is an important part of Swedish foreign policy. As international interdependency and cooperation increases, it has become more important than ever for a country like Sweden to establish a place for itself on the world map. Disseminating knowledge and heightening awareness about our country is a way of achieving this goal.
