 Description: The Rio Negro Sport Fishing Lodge offers one of the finest and most unique sport fishing packages in Panama. The lodge is located at Playa Reina, midpoint on the Panama's Pacific West coast of the Azuero Peninsula, Panama's famed "Tuna Coast". We are accessible by automobile, a 4-hour drive from Panama City. Our strategic location provides excellent deep water offshore and inshore sport fishing, for a large variety of saltwater game fish, in remote Panama waters. These fishing grounds include the waters near Punta Mariato, Cebaco Bay and Coiba, a sport fishing paradise. We fish standup and barefoot, 12 months a year, in the "Magoo" a 34 foot custom built twin powered Panga, designed and rigged for fish ability, versatility, comfort and safety. The Magoo is proven the perfect sport fishing vessel for both high speed off shore trolling or close in popping, live baiting fishing and jigging. We outfit two to four anglers, with an experienced fishing guide, high quality light/medium fishing gear and tackle. Our seasonal catch includes Wahoo, Dorado, Roosterfish, Cero Mackerel, Snook, Cubera, Colorado and Crimson Snapper, Corbina, Broomtail and Rockhind Grouper, Peruvian Amberjack, Almaco Jack, Jack Crevalle, Blue-Fin Trevally, Yellow fin and Big Eye Tuna, African Pompano, Pacific Sailfish and many more.
